Fla-gypsy, I always thought that providing warranty service on a particular brand of vehicle was generally one of the conditions of maintaining an authorized dealership.... apparently, I am wrong. None-the-less, Winnebago has called me back saying the dealer agreed to to my warranty work, but that they would give their own customers priority. That is NOT what the GM told me, but the fact that he started backpedaling with the Factory reps tells me he realized he might have screwed up. In any event, this dealer is being extremely short sighted over this whole matter as I seriously doubt this will be my last RV purchase, and I will absolutely remember this entire episode when I start looking again for a new RV in the future.
Not so in the RV world. Also you should consider the level of service you should expect from a dealer that you have pissed off. I think I would find someone else to do whatever needs to be done. yes it is very short sighted but I wouldn't let them touch my RV now.
