Most of that 2k lbs is because it's a front wheel drive vehicle.

Expediters on ProMaster forums are not reporting any issues with the transmission, some with 120k + miles on them.
The V6 is the same one Chrysler is using in almost all their vehicles. Ram pickups, police cars & Jeeps. We have this engine in our Jeep and just love it. Smooth, quiet and powerful
