Since it will be your first RV, give some consideration to going to Hershey PA in mid-September to the "largest RV show" in the country. We went several times before deciding on the type of RV we wanted. While there, consider how you expect to use the RV, for example long road trips vs. weekend get-aways, and how much time you will spend on the road. These considerations will help you to determine how much stuff you need to carry, and then necessarily how much Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity you need on the RV. Try to avoid eye-candy.
