Unfortunately those comments come from those that DO NOT own a 42'. 10 years ago I made the mistake of listening to posts that 36' was the biggest for NP, SP, USFS CGs so I bought a used 36' DP. Did not take long to realize this was BS so you can see what I ended up with on the third expensive try.
Sure it's harder to find a big enough site for a 42' and yes in Yellowstone mine becomes a 40' BUT it's not impossible. You will hear that in CA you will not be able to find any public CG's big enough and this is somewhat true so you stay at a Private CG a couple miles away. This is why you tow a car. We do three month out West without reservation staying in Public CGs most of the time. If you show up Friday without reservations you are in trouble but arrive Monday... plenty of sites big enough.
I would recommend something older than what you are looking at, especially for a first one as the chances of getting it right on the first try is slim. Plenty of nice low mile units 6-8 years old for half the price of the four you posted.
