When I compiled statistics on State Campgrounds and Federal Campgrounds, I found about 50% of State and Federal campground sites were at least 40 feet long.
However, I did find that people would complain about the campground roads -- too narrow, twisty, bumpy, etc. So while you may find sites in State & Federal parks, getting there may be challenging.
