Of course there will be places and times that your rig won't fit. However there will always be an alternative destination nearby.
But also consider why you chose the larger rig in the first place.
Just as important,is will there be times when a smaller rig will be cramped or too small?
Pick your poison. At the end of the discussion there must be compromise.
Sacrifice day to day living/travel space or sacrifice a few available sites.
