In California, cal Trans prohibits MH's over 40 ft on some highways and roads due to being too narrow or to tight in the turns. For instance many parts of Highway 1 are prohibited. here is a link to the Map. When it comes up, click on the map for the area you want to look at and if the road is marked RED, it is a restricted road.
