You know what's missing from this conversation? The folks who say they tried to fit into spots but couldn't so they had to leave the park.
I can only guess why we aren't hearing from those folks.
I see plenty of folks with 36, 38, 40 and 42 foot coaches saying they've had no problems and no-one saying they have had problems actually fitting in a spot.
So the question remains unanswered. I haven't read any post here from folks who found out they couldn't fit after they arrived.
That being said, I see length restrictions often online when I research a campground. I even know for a fact that some sites will simply not accommodate larger coaches (Yellowstone fishing bridge being a good example). When I had my 31 footer, I used to watch out for length restrictions carefully and would inevitably arrive at the campground and find coaches way longer than the stated max on the web sites.
