To the above question, yes, I have answered it. We've never gotten to a place and couldn't fit.
As far as vehicles hanging out beyond the campsite - that's the RV park's problem for allowing it. We've been in many state parks where towing vehicles were parked all over the site ruining the grassy areas. Again, the park should not allow it and folks would then get a site where everything fit on the parking space....or find another park.
If you're one who does this, don't try to stay at Sleeping Bear Dunes Nat'l Lakeshore in Michigan. If you're one inch off the parking space you will be told to move it. We've volunteered there and monitored it.
There are suitable places for all sizes of RVs. Again, all you have to do is research where you'll fit. It's easy to do.
