When you get through shocking those that question your mentality about your DD40, show them a picture of your electrical bay. WOW! What a work of art!. I've had the privilege of driving and working on a CC just like yours. Drool.......

Detroit series 40? Is that from the 1920's? The current is Series 60 but 330hp would be too low.
Could you give us some details about what you are looking at?
????? Country Coach was installing 330 HP Cat's in coaches as late as 1998..???
I know I was very surprised when I opened up the rear engine axcess and was expecting a black or yellow engine. Even the 1998 brochure has no engine options just the Detroit 40. The brochure also calls the chassis Dynomax but it's a Gillig.Click For Full-Size Image.

- P_KennedyExplorerI think the IH DT466 has IH Case roots and the Series 60 was a JD design which they had in some company truck tractors painted JD green and used a mechanical pump. The Detroit 60 series made by DD never had anything but electronic fuel management. The 466 is one of the best medium displacement inline 6's built and was used in IH farm equipment many years before it was in truck frame.
