So tired of replacing these,, Isolator What is the alternative.

As others have said the BIRD rarely fails,mine is good after 12 years and as a Former Rental it has had a lot of use.
I had the same problem, house battery not charging from the alternator,after checking all systems including the BIRD , I found that the continuous duty solenoid was the problem,not letting the Bird do what it is suppose to do. Have you checked that?
