Finally visited P Allen Smith place in AR. Going again in September, it is beyond fabulous.

Just back from Grand Bayou Resort in Coushatta LA www.grandbayouresort.com
It is a wonderful campground with lots of space, shade, paved roads and paved level sites. The personnel and campers are easy going and friendly. It's 30 mins from Natchitoches, a nice tourist town.
Of course there was a fly in the ointment at the campground, and it was a Chinese generator, fired up continuously except during quiet hours. I think the campground would have addressed the issue (I recorded the racket and took it to the office), but we just left a day early. It is beyond rude and selfish to run those generators!! There is NO excuse. Grrrrrrr!
