Diesel Cost Comparison -AZ vs UT

Diesel in Phoenix is $3.57/gal as of midnight 7/30/2013.
Diesel in Salt Lake City is $3.79/gal as of 7PM 7/29/2013.

Other cities may be higher or lower...here in Michigan it's $4.29/gal..:E:E....Dennis

What part of AZ. Around Tucson fuel is way cheaper than Flagstaff. In the res area I have found parts of UT cheaper than AZ. All depends on the city. When I refuel going to/from Moab UT, I will fill up at White Mesa, UT, wide open station with good prices. Cross into AZ and Keyenta will gouge you. Have not done this route in over a year so anything could have changed.

Gasoline is another story as SE UT does not have (or hard to find) 87 octane.

I use FindFuelStops.com to plan our stops. With a 2,500 mile range I fill up where the price is best.
