Diesel fuel

You can always do better that the Flying J price, use Gas Buddy and look around a little bit. In five years what we've saved in diesel cost will pay for six new tires on our DP.

I haven't been able to fid diesel on Gas Buddy...I do use it for my toad and other auto...

After you select city or zip it should say diesel in the lower left corner?

The big-truck stops, especially on an interstate highway, are often 30 or 40 cents more expensive than stations a few blocks off the interstate.

Click on Gas price maps(upper left corner), then zoom into the area you want to look(about 7 clicks), then the local prices appear. Next click on 'regular' in upper right corner-then diesel will be one of the choices in the drop down.

X2 And I know I can get out with the toad!!

I get 5% back on all fuel purchased with my credit card.

I avoid Flying J not only because of their prices but also due to the line at the pumps. To many RV'ers :)

I use Gas Buddy each morning of a trip to decide where I want to fill up that day and if the station seems small I can google it and get a street view of the access. BTW: Gas buddy also has a pretty good trip planner to show the cost of fuel for your route.

I avoid FlyingJs all the time now, they used to be all I'd use. Now I find them to be 40-50 cents/gallon more.

We usually hit the truck stops one exit away, still busy, a lot less $$$.
