I have a Blue Ox base plate on a Honda CRV. Nearly invisible which is what I wanted. Easy driveway install. Found it on Amazon and with prime shipping the price was a few dollars less than other mail order store fronts.
For a tow bar I use Ready Brute Elite. Wanted brakes on the tow. Figure if I could add 3000 pounds to the coach and not increase the stoping distance that would be a good thing. The tow bar has worked flawlessly for five year of intermittent use. Plus it cost less than buying a bar and a separate brake system. What I like most is the system does not require external power. Car pushes on the coach, bar reacts and pulls the brake pedal. The harder the car pushes the more the bar pulls on the brakes.
