News to me that Liquid Nails could be used on metal.
Liquid nails was not designed to be used on metal products. Does the can say that it is compatible with metal (i.e. includes metal versus it is silent on metal, a huge difference)? Also liquid nails is weather resistant not water proof. Your outdoor application would require a product that is water proof.
