I think the chance that someone may fudge on their price, or just post a low price to Troll, makes it a good idea not to post purchased prices. Like was said here, why make someone feel bad if they happened to over pay, also there are so many variables, such as chassis age, time of year, local, or discount dealer, all options not disclosed, was it a show RV, trade in, and I'm sure there are more.
Not posting prices has always been a curtesy to other owners, but certainly no rule about doing it, but a PM would be the best.
