We have a Newmar that is 60% Black It does retain heat but it it is also easy to cool because of the excellent insulation. It does have a white roof. The bigger PIA is keeping a Black MH looking clean any little dirt or dust shows up like a sore thumb. It looke very good after washing but does not take much to show the dirt again.
