Another consideration is the coach gets hotter because the outside skin is hotter - much hotter. Insulation helps keep the heat outside BUT the heat on the paint will cause the paint to have issues sooner than a lighter colored paint. I saw that very clearly when I had paint checking issues. The dark areas were really bad and the light areas were fine.
