DO I NEED A LADDER?
:h:hWE ARE NEW TO AN RV, HAVEN'T STARTED TRAVELING YET. WE HAVE A 35 FOOT, FLEETWOOD BOUNDER, CLASS A, GAS MOTORHOME. IT HAS A LADDER ON THE BACK LIKE MOST, BUT DO I NEED TO CARRY AN ADDITIONAL LADD...

Our old camper, we always carried a short step ladder. It also doubles as a step for the tail gate of the truck. Our new camper has slides, so I started carrying a 6 foot step ladder so I can reach the top of the slides to brush off any leaves or twigs that might fall from any overhanging trees.
If you have space, it might be well to carry a small step ladder, especially if you already have a ladder attached to your camper so you can access the roof. A small ladder comes in handy for lots of things, but there again, you may carry it and never use it. Someone else may carry one and use it every day. It just depends on you and your needs.
