Do I need to carry spare tire?
Is there a valid reason to carry the extra weight of spare tire? Will roadside assistance show up with tire mounted to wheel and then change it? There is no way I could change it myself.

Like Dale Traveler said , breaking lug nuts loose can be a bear.Just have a credit card ready for the road service.They will show up dismount your flat change it out and remount it on the vehicle. You will need to get it balanced at your earliest convenance . If you have a spare they can mount it for you. If you have road side assistance they will find you a tire service.
