Maryland state parks typically charge $4 for a milk crates worth. Usually not very dry so it doesn't burn very well. Due to the emerald ash borer they dont allow wood from out of the county, let alone another state. Usually lumber is ok because it has been through some sort of process and is very unlikely to bring any type of pest, fungal or insect, with it.
