I love to read these posts. Post after post I have read people complaining about how cold it is driving, especially in DPs.Then you will see a post that says only if you have people in back. That dash air or heater is not going to do the job. No matter what rig you buy. Now I do realize after reading hundreds of posts some people run their coach at 32 degrees to save money. If you are like me, a normal person that enjoys 70 degrees you will use A/C and generator or your MH furnace.
X2 - what's the point in paying all that money for a MH to have all the comforts of home while driving if you are going to be uncomfortable to save a few pennies? Gen-AC when it's hot, furnace when it's cold. Nothing worse than having a freezing seat or bed when you get to your destination only to have to run the furnace to heat things up anyway when you get there. Keep it comfie. That's what it's all there for.
X3 - I also get a kick out of those that say they can drive in the winter with only dash heat on low & they are in a tank top. Big temp difference between some of our "winter" travel. One give away is if someone mentions using heat pump.
