Always keep it plugged in while at home. To do so it is good to have a multistage converter/charger.
Like the multistage Progressive Dynamics converter, it has a Boost Mode, Normal Mode, a Storage Mode and a Equalize Mode to eliminate battery sulfation and stratification…the leading cause of battery failure.
Mine came with a Bi-Directional Isolator Relay Delay or a BIRD as they are called.
This allows me to charge ALL the batteries,Coach and Chassis,at one time while plugged in.
The controller also senses heavy loads on either battery to prevent the wrong battery from being inadvertently discharged
