For the benefit of battery life alone, during extended storage I learned it's best to disconnect fully-charged batteries, both the coach and chassis batteries. But keep in-mind that our rig is stored indoors in a fairly controlled environment. If our rig was stored outdoors say in a remote lot somewhere off-site, I'd store the batteries at home indoors.
When our RV was left plugged in 100% of the time, it seems our battery life is cut by at least 50%, maybe more. I figured... "Why waste the electricity and batteries?"
