I have read where Jeeps, Honda's and others but not so much about GM's products.I know some GM's are towable but would like to know if anyone out there are towing them and if they had any trouble?Thank for any and all comments

2006 HHR 10,000 miles no problems. Neutral, Ignition on, pull #8 fuse.

I towed a Tahoe for a couple of years. No problems at all, it was just a little to heavy so I went with a Jeep Wrangler.Most of the 4x4 vehicles can be towed. I see lots of the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyons being towed. Have also seen a few full size Chevy pickups. As long as it has the neutral in the transfer case it should be towable.

2010 HHR. Love it. Can't tell it's back there.

Tow a 2012 Colorado 4x4. Lite, hook up towbar, push two buttons to shift transfer case to neutral, release parking brake, remove key and go. Steering does not lock when key removed. Do not have to worry about running down battery or pulling fuses

Have towed my HHR, with automatic transmission, close to 40,000 miles so far with no problems. The HHR does have the steering and ignition switch recall and now I just got a notice of another recall for the airbag connector. The recalls are not that big of a deal since they can be taken care of at any GM dealer, even while you are on the road. The book says tow at 65 max but that is more of a CYA than a hard and fast rule. I usually tow at 70 MPH and things are doing well.

I tow a 2013 chevy sonic and have towed it for at least 15000 miles and haven't had any issues with it, just follow mfg recommendations. If it wasn't for the rear view camera I would never know it was back there.

We tow a 2007 Chevy HHR, I installed a switch to disconnect the #8 fues and tow in neutral. No problems.

07 Envoy 4x4, the handiest/most convenient/best everything toad I've ever known. I'll keep until I can't go anymore.

We are in the market for our first toad. Our MH is rated to tow 3500 lbs., so id like to stay below that. We would buy used . The Focus is an option , but its a bit smaller than Id like . The Malibu seems like a good fit, but ive read that even though they say they are towable, there have been many transmission failures in the 2010 & up malibus & some oither GM cars due to towing.
Has anyone here had an issue like this ?

2007 Chevrolet Crew Cab Long Bed 2500HD 4x4 with Duramax Diesel/Allison Transmission. No issues at all, I tell folks it is there to help push me up the long grades.

Chevy 2007 Malibu Maxx for 20,000 miles. Now tow a Chevy 2012 Captiva. About 10,000 miles. Both have towed with no problems. Turn key to Acc, shift to N and throw switch to bypass fuse.

2005 GMC Canyon. Have had no problems and it is a great towed vehicle.

Saturn outlook similar to GM Arcadia all 4 down and just pull a fuse.
