We have towed a Pontiac G-6, one a 2007 and the second a 2008 for over 20,000 kilometers each. No problems and never pulled a fuse.
Follow the procedure as recommended. Start and warm up each morning and start and run each time you fill up the MH with gas.
In Neutral and the switch in the column unlock only.
