does net & cell work if driving in the middle of nowhere?

We use Verizon with an air card for internet. We mostly travel in the west now and we always seem to have a signal. Sometimes not a strong one, but we can use telephone/internet. We boondock a lot in national forests, deserts, etc. and it doesn't seem to make a difference because there are so many towers out there nowdays. Good luck!
