does net & cell work if driving in the middle of nowhere?

you know like if the passenger is on the laptop searching the net, or talking to people on the cell phone, or texting. while you are driving. are there any set backs with your services for these t...

We have a Millenicom data plan that uses the Verizon network. Driving from NY to AZ and back, we had a decent Internet connection almost constantly, with the few drop outs only lasting for a mile or two. The tower to tower transitions were seamless. We use an external roof mounted antenna with our data modem.
