Every carrier has dead spots. My employer uses Verizon, but they have no coverage at my house, and it is spotty where I go, basically a paperweight. I am in Sales and need to answer calls, so I forward all the calls to my personal cell phone that does work where I live and frequent. I would try and find the carrier that can supply you with service in the places you frequent. You may find Verizon works best, you may find it is another carrier. If you are not sure which one will, talk to folks who have service where you go, or find a used prepaid device that works, buy a month of service and see if it works for you. If it that carrier does not work, move on to the next one.
