does net & cell work if driving in the middle of nowhere?

you know like if the passenger is on the laptop searching the net, or talking to people on the cell phone, or texting. while you are driving. are there any set backs with your services for these t...

AT&T on my ipad2. Whoever isn't driving can surf the net or check email, often out in the middle of nowhere, like today between Louisville and St. Louis on the Interstates.

I've had service in Bryce Canyon NP Campground. You can't really generalize and say one carrier is best. Go with what works well at your home base...ask around.
