I see everyone is saying YES it does.

I will modify that slightly, It is SUPPOSED to... (I never assume it works as it should) as one person said confirm with volt meter or for that matter turn on an incandescent lamp if you have not converted to all LED. Shortly after starting the engine the lamp should brighten indicating an increase in voltage. (NO need to spend money on meters)
