Tioga Montara 25KI owned a truck camper and absolutely loved it. The wife, not so much. She wanted to be able to get up and walk around or make a sandwich while traveling. Traveling w/ the TC is no different then traveling in a normal truck. So we ended up w/ a class C. Like you we wanted one that we could still drive around town easily so we settled on a 26' model in a similar floor plan to what you are looking for. We went w/ an E-450 chassis for the towing and cargo capacity. The extra space compared to the TC is nice. It was ultimately a good change. Good luck in your search. Richard
