That makes sense to me with the ground clearance. I am not interested in towing four down since I have a dolly I just dont understand how you can tow a jeep four down but not with the front wheels on the dolly? If someone can give me a logical explanation I will accept that but as of yet know one has given me the mechanics behind it. Are people who tow Jeeps doing something that I am missing in order to tow four down such as a transmission pump or cooler or something or if you put it in manual does it not disengage the drive line from the tranny. Just want more a technical reason. I have a 2009 Acura TSX front wheel drive manual transmission that I would like to tow on the dolly for now but for future may want a different vehicle just trying to look ahead. Thanks for your offerings they are appreciated. :)
I usually try to be pretty patient with questions on here and I don't appreciate people who shoot of a one word unhelpful answer.....BUT,
I think it's been explained in pretty simple terms on here 4 or 5 times. Maybe you should go back and re-read the responses you received.
Sorry it bothers you but I didn't get the answer until the one above you. I am an engineer and I guess I just need a little bit more then you just cant and read your owners manual. Sorry to be a little more intellectual than that.
