Is the refer in a slide room? if so, you probably have a problem with rear air ventilation. IF in a slide room, refers require an exhaust fan at the TOP vent blowing out. Just having the standard fan blowing up will not be adequate.
The ONLY test for seeing if you have a failed cooling unit is this---You make sure you have adequate rear ventilation and you hot wire the 120 element for 24 hours and see if the refer gets below 10 degrees in the freezer and below 40 degrees in the refer. Doug
