If the propane did not ignite there should be a "Check" indicator light on the control panel. If the propane had been turn off for an extended period of time it may take several times to get it to light. If my propane has been off for a while I will light the stove to make sure there is gas in the line.
You can also check the flue temperature. The flue directly above the burner. If it is heating the flue should be hot to the touch.
Also there is FILTER in the propane inlet to the burner. It may need cleaning.
