Sounds like you have -
12volts - Lights R on
Propane - You hear the burner lighting and hear it lit
Go to the back of the frig. With the propane off take a good SNIFF and determine IF you smell ammonia.
When my fridge went I didn't smell any ammonia, but I had a leak and it was in the chimney. I saw a yellowish green substance on the chimney of the fridge. All lights for the fridge worked and the propane actually lit. When I removed the fridge from the MH, boy did it stink of ammonia.
