Most RVP wall tstats get their power from the FURNACE power wires to the wall tstat. The Dometic Single Zone you installed uses just 3 wires from the upper control board. The 12 volt POWER for the Single zone comes from the upper control board. The upper control board has a Negative and a Positive wire connection and that POSIIVE wire at the upper board MUST have 12 volt power there. The wall tstat does NOT have any spare power connections. The power comes thru those 3 wires going to the upper control board. Usually, you determine WHICH of the 5 to 7 wires at the old wall tstat hole has 12 volt positive. You then use one of the extra wires(not the 3 you are using for the Dometic) and use that 4th to supply 12 volts up to the upper AC control board and connect to the 12 volt input of that upper control board.
