Unless you know exactly what it needs in repairs, replacements and upgrades for safe and reliable driving and enjoyment, and you have the money to pay for parts and labor (or) you have all the skill...

Don't Buy and Old Motorhome Unless..
You know how to evaluate the rig thoroughly! You must be knowledgeable enough to identify and quantify any problems and pitfalls.
If you are not familiar or capable of evaluating a used rig it would be worthwhile in the long run to find someone that is knowledgeable.
If you are on a tight budget you need to be capable enough to complete any needed repairs yourself.
Finally most any type used vehicle will require some initial repairs and maintenance. You should have some reserve $$$ budgeted for those initial repairs.
If you are not prepared to take the above approach, you should consider buying a new rig that will come with a warranty and after the sale customer care/service.
