To me, personally, the 39 footer is way way too big so it wouldn't be hard for me at all. Although I might downsize a little less to around 27-30 ft. I think it's largely going to be a matter of attitude and expectations. We've all seen folks happy as can be in very small RV's as well as in the huge ones and each will be glad to tell you the advantages. We have had from the smallest pop-ups to a 17 ft. hybrid, a 25 ft. 5th wheel with no slides and now a 30 ft. Class C with 2 slides. We've loved them all at times. Love the 30 footer, never will want bigger but even it sometimes is a little too big for the sites we want. To me, no matter what we have it is never a "home"; it is a camper and I don't expect to have everything we have at home.
