As already stated just push the arrows and it takes it out of auto into manual arrow up or down .. Don't forget to push the d again to put it back into drive.
Ricelake922 your neighbor has done you a disservice , I'm not sure why they had problems with their brakes but they shouldn't have. The fact they did and are telling you of these "big" mountain passes leads me to tell you to discount heavily what they are telling you.
Truth is you won't.need to touch the panel .. Your mh and its big truck brakes and the exhaust brake ( really find out how to use this) make this trip your planning easily ... Hang in there
