Well, maybe, maybe not. I bought a used pickup that was full of nasty smoke odor. As a condition of the sale, the dealer spent a day cleaning everything, and "removing" the smell with an ozone generator. It worked for a while, but the smell slowly crept back in. JMHO, but there is no hope for anything that has carpets, upholstery and fabrics one it's been destroyed by a smoker.
You do have to know what you are doing. One day is not enough time to remove odors that have penetrated the soft objects in a house or RV. It was not unusual for it to take 5+ days on some of the structures that I dealt with as a contractor.
