My radiator is a rear mounted unit. It does have a radiator cap and a bleeder valve at the top.
The radiator is as old as the MH but before the fan repair, I never had a hint of overheating so I can't bring myself to think that the interior of the radiator suddenly got dirty and plugged in the 2000 miles since the fan repair. The fan does not have a clutch, its is a fixed, run all the time fiberglass bladed fan. As for being installed backwards? I will do that check this afternoon along with counting the number of blades and comparing it to a picture I have of the old one that self distructed. Thanks for the suggestions.
