DP started overheating after a repair

I just checked the fan, belts etc.
The fan at this time, I think is on backwards. The fan should blow air from the engine to the radiator and thru it. The fan blades are curved and the outside of the curve is facing the radiator. The inside of the curve is facing the engine.
So if I compare that arrangement to an airplane prop, it is indeed backwards. I need to do more checking and gain more information to make sure my thinking is correct. If anyone knows from their own experience looking at a fan, can you identify which side of the fan faces the radiator? The outside curve or the inside curve?
