Are you sure you've found legitimate ads for DP's in the 98 to 01 range that are in the $30k range? There are a lot of scams out there and people will post ads with what looks like super good deals in order to catch more suckers. These usually involve the old send us a good faith deposit and we'll hold it for you deal.
You may be correct about this as I have done zero looking at used DP's lately, but those prices seem too low for what you are describing, unless they are wrecked units, or rat infested, or have some other serious issues.
But back to your original question, if in fact you are finding DP's in good condition in that price range, then yes, I'd take a $30k DP over a $20k gas rig any day.
You may be correct as I have not followed up any of them. here are a few examples though. In my experience if there is a Ph # listed it is usually legit.
2000 Dutch Start $27.9K

1998 Monaco Windsor $34.9k

2000 Dutch Start $32.9K

2000 Monaco Windsor $31.5k (185k miles though)

Just don't send anybody any money on any of these until you've seen it, inspected it, and made sure they have a valid title in hand. I only looked at the first one on your list and it looks like a good deal and the photos of it look good. However, a quick search of the RV dealer who is selling it turns up quite a few posts on this very forum about problems.
Read this thread here.
On Edit: I just breezed through the above link about that dealer on the first motorhome on the list. I went back and looked again and it doesn't appear as bad as originally thought. The dealer appears to specialize in bank repos which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I did also go back and look at the Youtube video they posted on that first one too and something like that looks like a real good unit. And he's only selling it for $28k which looks real good. I'm thinking maybe the reason motorhomes like that are so cheap is because of the only one slide. I think the current RV market places a big value on multiple slides. My current motorhome is a 2004 and is only 35 feet long, but I have three slides. But other than not having as many miles as the one in that add and the slides, they would be comparable units and I owe WAY more than $28k on it.
