Big Katuna.....Amish unit self install, $1100.00. Residential refer, self install $1300.00. Resale value MUCH higher with residential unit, especially a large coach with a four door Norcold.
I installed one in my 2005 Diplomat....greatest thing I ever did. New coach has an even larger one. We boon docked in both coaches. Typically takes about two hours of generator running to bring batteries back up.
If you're handy, you can install the Amish unit yourself or the residential. If you're going to sell the coach in the next year or less, go Amish. Keep in mind though, several of the Amish repairs have gone south.
Many, who don't have a residential unit will malign them, but yet to see someone complain about the residential unit.
