I know I'll get blasted for this but -------maybe high speed is the operative phrase here. No, I don't own nor drive a MH but spent a career driving heavy trucks from 10 wheeler's to 18 wheeler's and high speed wasn't part of the equation. Getting there safely was the goal, slowing down to a reasonable speed makes a much more enjoyable trip.
Not blasting, but what is considered "high speed"? The OP never said. In this case I took "high speed" to mean highway speeds, give or take a little.
If you're talking 15 MPH over the highway limit sure, not the smartest thing you can do in a motorhome. With that said, on the other side of that IMO the guy driving 15 MPH under the limit is one of the most dangerous guys on the road too.
