I had pulled a 30' TT for about 6 years before we bought our first motorhome last year. Before the purchase, I had researched about the CHF, swaybars, steering stabilizers, etc. I even had priced out some of the suspension mods at a couple of local RV shops. Once we finally purchased the motorhome, I felt the same way. Not so much "white knuckle" driving but I was not comfortable driving the way I was with the travel trailer. Now, after owning the motor home for just over a year, I feel totally comfortable driving the class A. I think a big part of first time motor home owners is just getting used to how the motorhome drives. I am not saying I won't get some suspension mods in the future, but I am glad I didn't spend a bunch of money on mods until I got used to driving the big motorhome.
