Driving Class C on the Beach

Tried it last summer. It looked so inviting as the beach just seemed to be an extension of the road. Of course as I was about 300 feet beyond the road I determined this was a very bad idea. I then proceeded to call AAA RV and they indicated they can only recover a vehicle on the road and we were off road. They referred me to a local towing company that quoted around $300 to pull me back tot he roadway. Fortunately a passer by in a 4x4 saw us and rescued us with a tow. Very much a learning experience and next time I will park the RV and WALK the beach. Good luck.
