Winterized the MH couple months ago but have to drive out to my Daughter's for Xmas, about a 2 hours drive. I have the A/C cover on with the draw string and wanted to know if this would stay on while driving or should I climb up there and remove it?Thanks, Dave

If you can safely get on roof to remove it. Do it. The added force from the cover and wind may damage AC shroud.

Well the cover might get beat up by the 55 - 70 MPH winds. But it probably will not come off. Might rip though.Should be fine though, if there is ice up there, I am not risking my life to remove it. . .Have a nice trip!Fred.

It won't stay there - I know this because I forgot to remove it one time and it flew off. Since I cant trust myself, I just do not use one anymore.

I'd go up there and take it off. You know what it will look like if you end up having to use duct tape. :)

I just had a vision of hitting the road and having an AC cover fly off the guy's RV in front of me and blocking the view through my windshield. Please take if off.

I forgot my AC cover once, ONCE. Next trip I made was to the dealer to get a new cover. 35 mph max on residential streets and it was gone forever. While others may have different experiences I would definitely remove it.

You evidently were able to climb on the roof to put it on, why not climb and take it off and then don't worry about it

Might depend on how it fits. Last Feb we left ON for FL. Remembered about it somewhere in GA, before I took it off.
No damage to it or the shroud at all, but ours fits very tightly.
